but why is no snow sticking to her shoes?
She has rockets built into her feet. The heat from that would stop snow from getting on her boots.
I am both delighted to be back, and dreading Sulla’s pain in the present.
Such a big contrast with the happy kid at the end of the last chapter :(
Ug… She should not be alone! Bren and Al f*ed up getting into their little spat. They needed to stuff their drama in the happy box so they could get home ASAP. I’m a little nervous to see where this goes. Hoping someone (maybe one of Sulla’s friends) found a way to follow her home so they can interrupt her (and give her a good hug) before she goes into a self-destructive mode. :(

I hope she didn’t strain her body, by fighting the giant robot, back there.
I hope she isn’t going into the hospital, for 6 months, or something like that.

I’m much more worried she’s super depressed/anxious and will deliberately harm herself.
I just discovered this and I love it, does anyone know how I could get my hands on the paperback volumes in the UK?

IMO- I can see why she might want to “bring him to life”, so that she + Bren can spend time with him.
Also- since Bren probably talks about Al a lot, she might have wanted to create an A.I. [Alistair?] to see what Al was like.
In the 1960s TV show, I Dream of Jeannie, they bring the Hawaiian king, King Kamehameha, into modern times.
And this show asks- if you bring a person [back from the past], would he fit into modern society[?]…and would his [being put in modern times], change [him, or her, or them], in some very, unexpected ways? Hm.
I wish I could give her a hug so bad. :(
