I think Al has a lot of anxiety about robotransition. Al might want to look different, but wanting to have transitioned and wanting to transition aren’t quite the same thing
After all… before Al died there were those dreams about getting disassembled weren’t there?
A few months? Has there been a time skip between the end of last chapter and this one?
Also, I just had a thought. Imagine that, supposing Al’s robotransition goes smoothly (why wouldn’t it?), the comic included a scene of Sulla calling Al mom.
LOVE Sulla and Brendan’s faces in the second panel. Watching them be happy-nerdy together just fills me with such joy. I hope Al can join that happiness (in their own subdued way) soon.
Calling it now, that hair ain’t for Sulla.
Agreed.
Double agreed.
I think we already know what Al will end up looking like. There’s a poster of her in the hallway that’s always been of importance. The Blue Fairy. :-}
So… Is it blue hair?
You gotta have blue hair.
okay, I did laugh at this
Mind blown!
Dont make me cry like this
Right?? I’m freaking out right now. Absolutely losing my mind. Robotransition!
Doesn’t quite look the correct color, does it?
As someone who works and knows others who work with synthetic hair, I applaud Sulla for sticking with her original source supplier.
I wonder. If Al’s going with a new look, I wonder if they will aim to look the same age, or go younger, or what.
Rice noodles!
IT LOOKS LIKE TAFFY! Eeeeee!
To me, they look like those asian handmade noodles, that get thinner by folding onto themselves.
Having the tragically boring upbringing of a white person in the midwest, I have no idea what that looks like. To YouTube I go.

Well, it was the middle of the Winter in the last chapter, and now is close to -ther’s day, so we skipped a few months, yep.
I wonder if Al will tell her its for them. Poke out of the closet?
