I love that she was referring to Brendan as her dad, and also when asked didn’t hesitate to claim Al as her dad too. u right as hell girl you’re valid don’t let Brendan’s freakouts get you down!!! your dads are just both messy disasters in different ways, that’s all.

He’s gone as far to call her a foster child to Lucille, but he backpedaled a lot when Al asked if Sulla was his daughter. Whether that is because he felt he had to explain the whole thing to Al or whether he never thought of Sulla that way is tricky to know, isn’t it? He also sometimes pops into scientist mode—like asking Sulla if she was damaged over if she was okay/hurt. All parents can do things like that, though.

But I think he’s definitely feeling jealous and/or excluded here. There’s not much other translation for a face so full of rage and indignation.
