In reply to JJ. I would guess it's a little of both? I mean, there were probably records of Al's physical status (like medical records for his height/weight, photos from articles and Brendan's personal collection to show his build/skin tone/hair and eye color, etc.), but Al's memory of their own body would be necessary to integrate his mind with his body, you know?

I’m getting a very matrix like vibe from Tsade/Anubis and the Ballerina, like a psychological duality of sorts (are they both derived from different representations of Al’s subconscious?). One is very like the architect (emotionless, direct), the other more approachable (friendly, thoughtful) like the Oracle.
