I like the color shifts — when are we anyway?
Well…assuming Al’s still alive in this flashback it can not continue where we left off with the red pages. It could be after the colonel visited Als and Brendans workshop and before their big fight.
*falls out of chair* But seriously. Sulla’s little head in the 4th panel.
Oooh, that’s a neat effect with the two-color panels. I think Sulla’s having a flashback/memory interruption, perhaps.
I think Sulla and Al are sharing it. They both share shocked expressions…
I keep wondering if there’s something that’s supposed to happen in terms of Al’s programming once Brendan accepts him. Fascinating!
Or…yes. They could both be flashing back to making out with Brendan in Bio-Al’s original timeline. Awkward.

Btw LOVE the effect with mixing the old and current settings in the last panel! I love how so much of this comic is so well planned and thought out.

No, I think Sulla is going through her own shock at the situation, but Al…don’t you DARE short-circuit at this moment! You better just be rebooting your memory paths for arousal, love and passion! The blue screen of death is NOT allowed!

Same seemed to happen to mine but it appeared later, takes some time perhaps.
People often double post here, and I think what is happening is that there is a comment post lag time, and they post again thinking something went wrong.
…Im pretty sure Al sees Sulla up in the rafters, right here.

I thought they had? That last panel looks like hes not looking at brendan to me.
They both look like they are experiencing traumatic shock… of the same thing. Same stimulus, same response… since they might share some underlying identical memory which is being accessed.
I don’t think Al sees Sully, his face is angled down (Brendan is shorter than him) not up
I’m surprised that she is surprised. My pet theory was that she had deduced their relationship much further than what Brendon disclosed.
