Oh my. I had to stop at the second panel to absorb all the intimacy. Gorgeous.
(Normally I’d frown at eavesdropping, but I can’t blame Sulla for even a fraction of a second, given who she is and how surreal the whole situation is for a lot of reasons.)
I just had to go back and read that last argument. WOW! It’s so intense and raw.
Also, your art is incredibly consistent while still improving with every page!
I like this discussion, that these two are having.
Brendan (sp?) might be saying:
I love you. I loved the original AL.
You’re not the original AL, but I love you.
Has it ever been mentioned as to how loud or quiet Sulla is when she’s flying? It’s mentioned that she now has hydrogen fuel cells (per sepia flashback) but not the actual propulsion method

Oh so Brendan is talking about his pain in the last panel then? I was kinda confused by that metaphor at first
Top notch dramatic moment and unexpected development. I was waiting for a strong argument and recrimination from Brendan.
I also wonder how Sulla can be sneaky while user her thrusters.
