Page 30. Fine, really.
I’m running a sale over at the O Human Star store! I’m discontinuing magnet sets, so there are random magnet+sticker combo packs on sale right now, as well as some minicomics!

Is that sad acceptance on Erika’s face?
It’s kind of weird and cool thinking these girls are being driven home—not by Brenden—but *Gimel*. Technology has really come far! I guess it’s not too far-fetched robots are driving underage kids around in this universe since we already have beta versions of self-driving cars.
I love how Al and Sulla have pretty much the same kind of response for Brenden’s reaction—and they are both keeping details from him. I wonder, however, if it’s simply because they don’t want him to freak out worse or if it’s something else. I guess we’ll find out depending whether or not they fill him in later.
Guess we need to dump them both in a big bowl of rice to just make sure they get all of the water out! XD
This has to become a bonus image of some sort!
Yes we NEED THIS
She understands!
So… for months I’ve been double-taking when I see Al’s name, I keep finding myself checking if it’s Al or AI. Was that intentional??
Is it Al or AI? Considering the storyline, I think the answer is “yes”.
The font that comments are rendered in makes AI and Al visually indistinguishable. Neat.
for me, the l sticks out above the A and the I does not.
Pretty sure I remember reading that it was an accident.
Brendan is ultimate robot dad.
“Take on water” is a curious way to say it; I’ve only heard that specific phrasing in reference to boats and such. I guess it’s just contextually appropriate “Are you injured?”
Yeah, I imagine synthetic skin is capable of water breaching in moreso than organic, in part since they’re not oily like humans would be.
lol, “they’re oily” is how I’d expect an AI to talk about humans
Oh, Erika! That look is full of pathos. Lovely.
As someone who lives near the Mississippi I have to say that “taking on water” seems less concerning than “did the pollution melt you?”
