Okay, so, Al seems to be lifting himself on his own power in the last panel. One hopes that’s a good sign.
I love the very distinct way water is dripping from their hair. I’m not sure whether it’s a general stylistic choice or a visual marker of their “artificial-ness” but either way it’s very cool.
