Page 62. Make this right.
In case you missed it, I was commissioned to design a spiritual successor to the “We Belong Here” poster I drew in 2016, and this one features scientists. You can buy prints of both poster designs in my InPRNT store here.
Emerald City Comic Con is coming up again in Seattle in early March, and I’ll be at the Iron Circus Comics booth, 212! I’m be posting a map later this week with information on where you can find me and what events I’ll be participating in!
God, that first panel… And the way it’s paralleled in the third one… This is perfect and it killed me. Your work is amazing!
Ahhh… Brendan is the best parent. Looks like someone (probably Lucille) isn’t too happy about him cancelling, but it’s exactly the kind of situation you need to be with your child through. Who knows what would have become of Sulla if he had gone.
Brendan does the right thing the instant it occurs to him that in this case treating proto-Sulla like a mini-Al won’t work. All bets are off and the pair have entered uncharted territory, but Brendan correctly observes that the kiddo is in distress and that’s what he needs to address before anything else.
ohhhh poor sulla :( i’m glad brendan is there for her
Good job Brendan. T-T
I was a reader of this comic a few years ago, and I don’t really know why I fell off of it. But today, I returned to it with a vengeance. I started from the beginning and ripped right through it all (when I should be doing my own writing, might I add, so thanks for that).
There’s nothing quite so disappointing as reaching the current page of a great webcomic. Sigh.
This is a wonderful, wonderful comic. I won’t fall off of it again.
Welcome back. It’s an amazing ride.
Curses! I did not buy tickets to ECCC so there will be no “what random OHS character will I be this year?” :: cry ::
Hrm that looks like Lucille’s arm from a number of pages back, in that last panel. Is she getting suspicious I wonder?
yesss <3
loved this sequence. thank you for this comic
I love the dynamics between the characters but as a go-getting businesswoman it’s a wonder Lucille hasn’t punted Brendan yet.
I’m sure she’s getting suspicious that there’s something more going on (as she’s still in the dark) but I wish Brendan would be upfront with her in the past already. :( ♥ Hopefully soon.
oh my honey baby girl… it’s going to be all right
YEEEES ;WW; I was not expecting Brendan to react so well so fast after the previous page! What a great dad!!!!!! ;w; I’m so happy he was ready to listen to her!
Making a mistake is okay providing you keep in mind what is important and recover the situation with love.
Thank-you for creating beautiful, fallible characters.
