Los Angeles readers, I will be at Comic Arts LA this weekend (December 9-10). And on Saturday the 9th at 1 pm I’m moderating a panel about queer comics with an exceptional lineup: Taneka Stotts, Melanie Gillman, Sunmi, and Iasmin Omar Ata. I’ll see you there!
Oh my, I don’t think Al would appreciate this.

Also “Sulla” comes from R.U.R.?
I get the impression that Sulla had a total of 4 bodies in between the past and present. Brendan says that she asked for the chassis adjustment 3 years ago, which I’d assume was for her age age 12-15 body. It was probably not her current body, given how grown-up it appears.

This is, of course, hard to say definitively–Sulla doesn’t age between chassis swaps, and Brendan doesn’t have any huge tells.
Regarding the name, Sulla saw it in a book [she] liked. Which does imply that it’s R.U.R. Helena is also a character from the same story.
Ah, I see we’re using a girl to test the magical girl propul–I mean flight
