Page 50. Amateurs.
We are back! Thanks again for your patience as I get back into the swing of regular O Human Star updates. OHS pages and Meal inks are literally all I’m doing for the next month other than eating seasonal pies.
Also, thanks to those of you who dropped by and said hello at MICE a couple weeks ago! That convention is a blast and I would love to return next year. My final convention of the year will be Comic Arts LA on December 9 – 10. See some of you California folks there!
Uh-oh… It must be one of the Al fakes Brendan talked about early on.
What I don’t totally understand is if some people are now entirely synthetic, why is Sulla being hidden from the world?
Ooh, good call! I was thinking ‘this can’t be about Business-Card Person, can it?’
That’s interesting. I wonder if it’s that an AI conference is one thing, but the outer world is another. As with, e.g., non-binary folks at conferences on intersectional gender issues.
Sulla is entirely unique. She’s not an AI in the same sense as the one that’s walking with them.
It seems that at this point there isn’t any other being like her – every other AI is still operating at awareness levels that aren’t entirely uh… not unique, but like, fully independent?
I think it’s Black Screen Person from a long long time ago, or one of their projects. Because, who are they?
I’m still not convinced Black Screen person will be revealed at this point.
Blue, you leave us for four weeks and then you put up a new comic with a cliffhanger panel? Geez! ;)
There used to be a prize for the first robot that could transport itself from the curb to the AAAI conference registration desk and carry out enough conversation to sign itself in for the conference. I think that was claimed a few years ago.
Oh. Now I see Al!
