Page 49. Unprofessional.
Thanks for your patience with the next few pages. I’ve mentioned this elsewhere, but I’ve been doing caregiving for someone recovering from surgery and as a result I’ve fallen a little behind on my main projects. Updates will be irregular for the next month until I can catch up again.
In the meantime, though, New England readers can catch me at MICE in Cambridge, MA from October 21-22. I’ve have books, minis, and other goodies at table A39. See you there!
Smooth AF, whoever that just was! Look at Brendan’s Lil blush!
OH MY
get it brendan
Ooh, flirting with Brendan! Yay!
Aha! I didn’t have a clue what was going on there until I saw this comment; thanks!
Looking forward to saying hi to you at MICE next week! It’s a great show.
Is he flirting with Brendan? Is he mystery phone call guy?!
I was thinking that too, but doesn’t it seem like he didn’t make a huge impact on the story in his first appearance? That kinda makes it seem like he’s not THAT important.
Oh Brendo, I love this so much for you.
get itttttttt
hm?
it’s only “unprofessional” if the bloake just sticks It right in
your hand
without preรคmble.
i’m talking about Baldie’s Business Card!
(you crude, crude reader.
๐)
I laughed so freaking hard!
I worked with a man who would do that and it is SO unprofessional, but he stated that it was “the only way to get them to take a card”.
:: bows ::
rochi?
you happen to know your former colleague’s rate of success with his approach, there?
๐๐๐
Honestly, almost all of our co-workers hated him a great deal and we’ve had a few complaints about his attitude.
Sooooo xD
Sooooo..
..good riddance, to a bad egg
:-D
Propulsion systems! Brendan has a secret interest in those, now doesn’t he?
Squeal!! Cute!
Hey, I’ve been following this comic for a few years now, and I can’t articulate how much I love and appreciate it. And I figured that you might appreciate knowing that you were really on to something with your timeline for Real AI happening. I can track down the paper, if you like, but essentially there’s a solid argument that we could have built analog artificial neurons back in the early 2000s, if the tech industry had different priorities. Human-scale artificial brains in a shoebox by 2005. Anyway, thought you might appreciate that. Take your time on this masterpiece, Blue, and take care of yourself. We’ll still be here.
Hi BD! Love this comic and can’t wait for you to be back from break. ^_^
Be kind to yourself, Blue. You’ve done well. We look forward to your next update but don’t push yourself too much x
