Probably. Given Brendan and Lucille seem to have developed a close cooperation and exchange of technologies (she shares with him her artificial tissues and limbs and he shares with her his latest neuromorphic brains), it won’t be weird for Lucille’s robots to be the ones first showing signs of self awareness. Outside of Brendan’s new family, that is.

And it won’t be surprising for her to figure out the truth about Brendan’s “adopted” kid.

The shocked look on Brendan’s and Lucille’s faces indicates Tsade is is doing something unexpected. I wonder if Tsade is the ballerina girl in the future? I keep looking for the page where the ballerina girl is being chased by her person (who suspiciously looks like an adult version of Jimena), but I can’t find it.

I don’t think so? If that’s the case, it hasn’t really been hinted at more strongly yet. I think it’s just meant as a dig at his more well-known “hobbies” (modding their designs and tech, developing more, etc) that they think take up all of his time, since to the world outside of his family, he seems to be the rising, shining son of robotics during the time this page is set in. :)
