Blue has got me deeply disturbed with this plotline.
Why is Sulla having Brendan’s dream? Does this Al-with-a-hole-in-him represent the imperfect copy of Al’s mind that Sulla is made from? With that in mind, Al’s sad, resigned eye almost disturbs me more than the blood bubble.
I keep on going over the old dream sequence and imagining terrible possibilities. :(
is sulla having brendan’s dream? i didn’t get that impression, i thought this was just a dream brendan was having, and that maybe the giant literal wormhole in al represents that brendan didn’t really know the ‘full’ al or all the repressed feelings eating away at al’s heart?
the speech bubble melting into blood is extremely clever
AND nightmare inducing.
Someone REALLY needs to get his chest waxed.

Wait Sulla’s having this dream? I missed that, where was that shown?
Uh, what makes you think sulla’s having this dream?
I wonder how many times Brendan tested the emulator.
Review the start of chapter four, “superfans”. ;)
So much great symbolism in these dream sequences! They really feel organic and believably spooky. :D
The expressions here are gorgeous. And the link to the dream Sulla has in Chapter 4 is tantalizing!
You got the anime cliche all wrong, it’s supposed to be a nose bleed so massive it defies the volume of blood a person naturally has
This man speaks blood.
This is not what I ordered. I desire a refund.
