This is the first webcomic where I’ve done the “why isn’t this next button working” thing when I’ve caught up with it. And I already want to reread it.
I came here after seeing your stories in various iron circus anthologies and I was NOT disappointed. The art is beautiful, the storytelling and framing is stunning, and the emotional weight feels incredibly real and grounded. This is one of my favorite comics I have ever, read, ever, keep up the good work!

In reply to Dotcom. Word of God here: that's pretty spot-on. Al has sandy-blond hair that had gone mostly whitish-gray.

In reply to Shweta. I believe Sulla's hair is actually red like Brendan's. Al appears to be towheaded in the pics. He probably was a blonde until his hair changed. Blondes usually go white. Given he was only in his 40s, he may even still have some blonde strands left that are overshadowed by the white in his hair.

Looks pretty light, which makes sense both cause Sulla has p light hair and because dark hair takes a *long* time to go entirely white, and Al wasn’t anywhere near that old.

edit: so I’m gonna vote for pale green for no reason at all except that given the comic’s color palette nobody can prove me wrong XD
