Emerald City was a huge hit! Thanks to those of you who came out there to say hi or pick up a copy of Volume 2! I also received confirmation that Kickstarter packages have been going out, so I’m pleased as punch right now.

Oh, so that picture *does* exist! I’ve been speculating for years that it was pulled from Al’s memory or something shady!
Llevo esperando el final del comic desde el 2015! Qué más tiene que pasar?
No creo que vaya a terminar este año.
lo curioso es que ni lo leí en todo el 2016 y ahora que lo vuelvo a leer sigue sin terminar.
…So is punch really pleased? And if so, what pleases it?
Hadn’t thought about it before, but it refers to Punch of Punch and Judy. I like your image, though!
This got me curious. What’s Al’s hair color before he had white hair?
Looks pretty light, which makes sense both cause Sulla has p light hair and because dark hair takes a *long* time to go entirely white, and Al wasn’t anywhere near that old.
edit: so I’m gonna vote for pale green for no reason at all except that given the comic’s color palette nobody can prove me wrong XD
I believe Sulla’s hair is actually red like Brendan’s. Al appears to be towheaded in the pics. He probably was a blonde until his hair changed. Blondes usually go white. Given he was only in his 40s, he may even still have some blonde strands left that are overshadowed by the white in his hair.
Word of God here: that’s pretty spot-on. Al has sandy-blond hair that had gone mostly whitish-gray.
AAAAAA kid pics of AL *falls over from the cute*
I’m glad I got to see you at ECCC. I wish I’d done more “stop-and-chat,” but I think I got a little star-struck. It was my first American convention!
Geez, I’m a little embarrassed even writing this. *runs away into a corner and shrinks to the size of a Sulla pin*
This is the first webcomic where I’ve done the “why isn’t this next button working” thing when I’ve caught up with it. And I already want to reread it.
I came here after seeing your stories in various iron circus anthologies and I was NOT disappointed. The art is beautiful, the storytelling and framing is stunning, and the emotional weight feels incredibly real and grounded. This is one of my favorite comics I have ever, read, ever, keep up the good work!
Aww! Is that a drawing of robot components by Little-Al?
