She snapped? Oh my god, I snap. My people snap. Snapping is a thing that’s done in both social justice and poetry circles. I and my people are in both types of circles. In general, it’s a good way of expressing your approval, agreement, pleasure that someone is not being silenced, identification with what was expressed, general feelings of being down with what has been expressed, without interrupting.
