At an international camp I attended a long time ago, we worked out a way to say “I agree/This!” without interrupting during debates by raising our hands and waving them (rotating wrist), and we were told that it was the way Deaf people clap and cheer (not sure if it’s part of ASL or something else). I don’t know if people with only one hand do it too but it’s a cool signal, I’d be happy to know if it’s widespread… (I still do it on reflex sometimes and most people don’t seem to know it)

Yes… seeing him still in black, and looking so tired, even after 6 months or so has gone by (“earlier this year”)… she’s realizing he wasn’t just a business partner.

In reply to Avii. When I'm unable to use one of my hands I clap by slapping my upper arm, forearm, or the side of my thigh. I imagine someone with only one hand would do much the same. She definitely seems preoccupied with her thoughts tho

The difference in Brendan’s demeanor between the 2002 demonstration and this is intensely poignant.

He must have spent so long replaying that final argument and regretting that he’d slammed Al until Al lost it and stormed off. And then in the blue timeline Brendan goes and does it again. :(

I’m more fascinated by the look on her face. At first I thought it was mourning…. now I’m wondering if she’s just had a Thought. A big and important Thought which is taking a while to coalesce.
