The brain itself is never converted into data, correct? It’s scanned, and then the results of that scan is the data for the brain. So Brendan is talking like he’s saving Sterling, but in reality he’s effectively just making a duplicate of Sterling he can use to help himself. From Sterling’s own perspective there’s just death forever, with all issues staying unresolved. As far as I know Brendan never brings that up, like it doesn’t even matter. All that matters is his own view of things, as he’s demonstrated on multiple occasions. A self-centered person
