Page 22. Couldn’t have.
I’ve fully updated my fall convention schedule on my other site: I’ll be attending Flame Con in Brooklyn 8/20 – 8/21, SPX in Bethesda 9/17 – 9/18, and NYCC in New York 10/6 – 10/9. Looking forward to seeing some of you at these three shows!
Oh, and one more thing. My friend Kel McDonald is kickstarting the 2nd half of her longterm comic Sorcery 101, and she’s almost to her goal! Help her bump it over the finish line, would you?
Oh… This is going to hurt our hearts (even more), isn’t it? :(
yup
I’m genuinely getting choked up because of this page. A testament to the skill with which this is written.
Omg…does Brandon think that Al killed himself?
I think Blue has had Brendan admit he at first thought Al might have attempted suicide, but when he sees the blood is coming out of Al’s mouth and not cuts on his exterior he realizes Al is very sick, and later learns he had been very sick for some time.
the next page may determine whether i view brendan as only a “wayward good guy with a potential for Redemption” or if, verily, brendan is much more a Villainous Priggard than i had originally given brendan credit for being capable of”
i think.
Dear Blue,
why
Kindest Regards,
Suffering
Actually said, “Oh no,” out loud. But we can’t say we weren’t warned about this chapter being heartbreaking! I have a feeling the next couple of strips are going to be especially bad. Slash good.
I went back to the very beginning and even though I’ve read it about eight times, I’d never noticed the flipped table while Al’s making his way upstairs. The meticulous forethought really does justice to an amazing story.
I have to agree. Also, a couple panels later, he seems to be upset that he has a moustache. Just more proof of Blue’s brilliance.
Just recently found this comic, and finally caught up today. And oh gosh, what a place to have to stop and wait for the next page! I’ve only known these folks for a few days but I know the next few pages are gonna be an emotional wallop q_q hang in there my sad genius darlings!!!
Just gotta say: Brendan’s shoes really look comfortable.
Initially we thought he had, but he hasn’t, but he is.
