You know, at one point a couple decades ago, when sh*t got REALLY real–I shaved my head. (It’s still shaved, but). I got the SAME reaction from everyone that Brendan gave.

Brendan’s missing all of the signs. Sigh.

I have the very depressing thought that shaving off the beard was more to hide the blood than it was a fashion decision.
