If Sulla is starting to get Al’s memories, then it seems like it’ll only be a matter of time until she “remembers” that Al and Brendan used to bump uglies.
And considering that Al is her (in a sense) and Brendan is her dad…
I had no idea Sulla was aware that she was uh, based on Al.
Edit: It also makes me wonder something else: Is Al the -only- human who has been successfully transformed / transplanted into an AI lifeform? I mean, there’s other AIs but I don’t think they existed as a human before being AIs, if you get me.
There was no transplantation. Sulla was created from Brendan’s flawed, damaged memory-scans of Al, just like Al 2.0 was somehow given a full, (presumably) flawless copy of his old memories. Neither of them is a ‘transplant’ in any organic sense, but it seems terribly unlikely, given the original focus on copying memories in order to provide a foundation for Ai growth, that no other humans were ever downloaded in that way. Unlikely, but not, I suppose, impossible!
Wow! This comic is great! I love it so much! I’d like to be able to explain you how much I like it, and why! Unfortunately, my english is not so fluently, eh eh. Greetings from Italy, ciao.
It’s been a while since we saw Sulla float, hasn’t it?
Like commenters above, I love that people in this comic communicate about things! And I especially love Al and Sulla’s little talks, so I’m going to love this conversation even if it’s probably going to hurt a bit.
I mean, that sounds a lot like biological dreams. We dredge up a bunch of stuff from recent experiences and things on our minds and string them together even though they don’t generally fit.
Sulla is flexible enough to pull off a lotus pose, cool! Also, the story intensifies! I can’t wait!!!
Uh-oh.

…I worry for the girl.
“bump uglies” I haven’t heard that term in a long time.
the proper term is “Smite Evil”, not ‘bump uglies’.
win
This is getting more fascinating by the day.
I’m also enjoying how Al (who probably would never have pegged himself down as the parental type) makes a very caring and level-headed father figure.
Aaaaaa, forward button why do you taunt me?
I want flying hair!
Also I love this comic. Both specifically and generally. Just sayin’.

I’m loving the fact that Sulla feel comfortable enough to talk to Al about this and hopefully figure some things out!

Hmmmm…. curiouser and curiouser…
