Is there a way to stop the Hug Attack without shutting Biggie down entirely? I don’t know if cutting the power will kill it, blank its mind, or just be the equivalent of unconsciousness.
And if so, will Al realize just what he’s asking his fans to do?
Al being referred to as Sulla’s dad makes me feel like the “my soul is leaving my body” emoji, because oh my GOD I just can’t handle that I’m gonna flippin cry
I love this comic Too Much and every update makes me scream a little
You’d think she would have fixed that at some point. I mean, it shouldn’t be too hard to add a device that puffs out some warm, moisturized, air when she opens her mouth.
Eh, I’ve met people who do the tshirt thing irl, although it might be a flag its probably not an absolute. (I do remember Sulla saying she wanted to look like she needed winter stuff.)
But the breaths thing, yeah, that seems like it might get noticed at some point :/
So my “take” on the “double boundary speech balloons” in the last panel is that Al is speaking a “different language” — some sort of robot-to-robot language. Perhaps he doesn’t even consciously realize that he is doing that. Yes?
This is very belated and a little nitpicky, but “supercede” is actually a common misspelling of “supersede”–so common that it’s sometimes identified as a variant in certain dictionaries. It dates back quite a ways: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/supercede
Nice! I actually didn’t know any of that until I looked it up after re-noticing it was misspelled on this page (I reread the comic over the past few days), so we both learned something, haha. Anyway, happy to help :)

I was charmed by O Human Star because it was a story of a family reforming and finding themselves… Guess that peace couldn’t last.
Sulla’s breath isn’t condensating like the others’. Will someone notice?

Well this is the same person who had extra soup leaking from her eyes, so…..
Al doesn’t have the puffs either! I didn’t notice that small detail until you pointed it out.
Worse : Al is wearing a flimsy t-shirt in the middle of a blizzard. People are bound to notice.

Fingers crossed for them!

Nah, it’s just a way of emphasizing that they’re yelling. Brendan does it here: http://ohumanstar.com/comic/chapter-2-page-40/
Ah, got it, now. Thanks!

Learn a new thing every day! I went ahead and uploaded a fixed version.

Old code? I can’t wait to see what old code calls for playing cat and mouse with a human! Ooh unless it had been originally designed for the DoD.
