I need to take off next week’s update, and here’s why. Updates will resume February 23 – thanks for understanding.

So you’re saying a mobile phone is like a surrogate body for the caller?
Ain’t it a bitch when life intrudes and forces a choice between wanna and gotta? Take the time, Blue, and deal. We’ll be here when you get back.
this sounds like old general lee.
(of course, i assume he might have long-since been promoted.)
but it’d be too soon to bring the old codger back (at this point of your story), so i’d rather bank on this Mystery Person’s being someone we’ve not yet ever seen before.
i hope so.
that reminds me: miss delliquanti, if it’s at all possible, please don’t tell us when you’re going to shift into the “future-future.”
i’d rather this [momentous occasion] just wham me.
i am sure you might be brimming to do the reveal, but … this is kinda important for me
(so, no comment on the “real life alastair,” eh?
{i know what i’d remark, RE: the fella)
I just found this comic and read through the archive from the very first strip, and OH MAN, I was not at all prepared for the rollercoaster it would take my feelings on! This is easily one of the most compelling stories I’ve ever read, with characters that feel so incredibly real. As much as we’ve learned about Al, Brendan, and Sulla since the beginning, I’m still dying to know more. I’m utterly hooked on this comic and looking forward to future updates.
love it that the not – quite – so- young- anymore – Brendan has a slight punch. Also that the story is rolling on, but seems far from over. Keep on, Blue!
this is totally Tsade. who else have we seen in flashbacks who speaks this way? especially with ‘given our history.’ the eleventh hour reveal of some previously unmentioned but crucial character seems unlikely – much better odds it’s someone we’ve met before.
