Page 50. Remember that call that went right to voicemail?
I did read your requests for a more visual archive page, and I think it’s a good idea. I’ll try to update the archive page at some point.

o.O so nervooous!
Jeez, Brendan just can’t catch a break today
The Donbot would like a word with you, Pinsky.
Uh-ohhhhhh…
it amuses me to no end that rather than driverless cars, there are just little robots that will drive your car for you.
If you think about it, this is much more efficient. Your robot can just follow you around and do everything for you all day. Although it would probably be shaped more like a smartphone.
Ohhhhh dear. This is going to be… revealing.
Also, more dramatic scenes should be introduced with a harmless-sounding BLEEDLE LEEDLE!
I’m getting this sinking feeling that it’s someone we’ve already met. At least sort of.
can someone post a link to the phone call/voicemail from before? I’m having a hard time finding it in the archive and I can’t quite remember! Thank you!
love love love this comic, <3
Chapter 4, page 26.
I’ve been looking over previous chapters, trying to get a clue who might have ‘rebuilt’ Al. I assumed one possible party was the robots themselves, as Al’s first contact was with the Ballerina girl and the Anubis dog androids.
Neither Brendan nor Sulla had anything to do with it, and Luce would have no reason bring back someone she didn’t really get along with, except to please Brendan perhaps.
All this time I assumed whoever rebuilt Al did it for Brendan, or the robot community. Could Al have had another suitor that did it for themselves? Or did Brendan er…. possibly experiment with more than one attempted copy of Al.. or himself? A copy of Brendan might very well wish for a Al in its life as much as the original Brendan does.
Or maybe there is a potential/former customer who wants him back at the design table… We don’t yet know how things went down with the military interest.
BLEEDLE LEEDLE
Wow! I can’t believe that I found this comic just today!
PS: I like how “Al” looks like “AI”
“… since his last activation….” WHA?!? Does that mean Sulla? Or…?
2/12/15: I have edited Gimel’s dialogue to “since he was alive,” because that’s what I was trying to suggest with the dialogue and it was unnecessarily unclear.
Uh… hasn’t this page been reposted like, twice now? I remember seeing the next page come up a week or two ago, then this one again, then the next one, and now this one AGAIN. What’s going on?
I’m not sure what you mean or what you might be experiencing. Page 50 went live on 2/2, and page 51 went live on 2/9. I went back and tweaked a bit of dialogue on page 50 on 2/12, which may have affected how your browser displayed that particular page. If you mean that the home page has gone back and forth between the last two updates, try emptying your cache. I have been trying to fix a few site issues during my off-week.
