I see a Janelle Monae poster? And My Fair lady? Sulla has the best taste! Also, interesting to see that she wakes up just like Al in that nightmare he had in the flashback. Her doodles are very cute, though. Cannot wait until Thursday!!!
I was assuming that it was Tezuka’s Princess Knight (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_Knight), considering Sulla’s history with sex (the noun) and gender.

Well that explains why “Al” in that dream was so young. It was Sulla. Now I’m intrigued and terrified.
Was that Al? I thought it was young Brendan.
Wait ! Does she always have nightmares ? Is there something in Al’s past that she can see but not understand ? Sharing his memories was one bad decision that Branden took .. Now she is suffering .. He made two ppl suffer .. Aww that’s just sad
Didn’t Brendan say that the memories were erased? This maybe looks like a glimpse that wasn’t erased and it’s giving Sulla a bad time. I’m still wondering if what we saw was young Sulla or young Al, we will see!
Sulla doesnt have Al’s memories. Brendan says so to Al when he first tells her about Sulla.
Yeah that’s what Brendan told him, and I believe him… but it’s beginning to look like they didn’t all get erased.
Despite the seriousness of the page, I can’t help thinking the bunny in Sulla’s bed is very cute.
Oh! Nice call on the bunny, now I am totally thinking about the Velveteen Rabbit :)

It occurs to me that, being an attempted copy of Al, Sulla must have some very… confusing memories of her father.

… actually, My Fair Lady would make a certain amount of sense… since it itself is a reference to the Pygmalion legend, which is about a sculptor who falls in love with his sculpture & brings it to life: the complicated relationship between creator & creation….. !

Wasn’t there something about memories and snapshots that weren’t intended when Al and Brendan were at the convention? Perhaps some snapshots got left if Brendan erased Al’s memories from a young Sulla?
Is that Janelle Monae there in the background?
I am loving this story so far! I just wanted to comment on the little chalk drawings and messages in the last panel. Are they between Gimel and Sulla? If so, that’s so cute!!
