People in those circles are almost in their own reality. While I understand your sentiment, it won’t help and they won’t understand it. The powerful contribute to their own very well insulated lives…and I cannot say I don’t understand the temptation of it. All you can do about it is try to be better and not bitter.

It is the same for the upper crust no matter what the race. The servants are not worthy of notice. In fact I think it is a social sin for them to acknowledge the help. Lesser beings who don’t have the connections and money they have are only worthy of note when they possess something desirable…or are perceived as having committed some slight. People will be people :(
