That’s…. An interesting “crystal” stair case. Would be kind of nervous but still kind of cool to see yourself going up and down and seeing the floor at the same time.

I had assumed that it was the hebrew gimel (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gimel#Hebrew_Gimel), seeing as how it was used that way on the computer interface in panels 3 and 5 on page 23 of chapter 2 (http://ohumanstar.com/chapter-2-page-23/). In terms of what it stands for, I had assumed Golem (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golem). In any case, I like your take too.

Gimel seems to be something of a dogsbody… an all around gofer and doer. Interesting, cuz the word “gimel” is Arabic for camel, another kind of irreplaceable servant.
