And then they ki…hug? No? I think Brendan needed a hug more than mashing faces. Actually, I wonder if the lads have ever hugged. We have seen them spooning in bed without hugging, somehow – just Al’s arm resting passively on top of Brendan’s side. Makes sense with how uncomfortable Al is in his body, but it gets to a point where it seems weird how obviously he never tries to touch anyone. And that’s coming from someone who still hasn’t figured out how to react to being hugged.

Love this story; found this comic about two years ago and became hooked! I do have a question though. Do Sulla or Al 2.0 age? Or will they have to “swap” out bodies as they get older in order to age (though I doubt Al would want to–hell, I’d ask to be moved into a 20-year old version of myself, if I were him!)? How do their artificial bodies work?

I think he remembers collapsing (it’s on page 4, yes?) but not being in hospital; and his body must have been made at about the same time, because Brendan says it’s old technology.

Well .. Would the hugging or kissing be okay .. I mean al is not human anymore right .. I mean physically .. Like he have no warm flesh n skin n so on .. I think it’ll be awkward for Branden to Kiss n hug him .. I think .. So maybe just maybe it’s better for them that the hug was interpreted ?

Wait a sec.

Al doesn’t remember the moment of his death, right?

Does that mean that … whatever uh, backup he was recreated from… was done prior to him collapsing?

And if Sulla was born from the backup made while he was in the hospital – which was still not a perfect copy, most likely due to the trauma the body was going through – then who made the full backup?
