Here’s something I’ve never understood, and Al just brought it up. When Brendan tried to make a copy of him after he died using his personality and mind, did he intend to raise that copy as his child, or did he want his lover back? Forgetting for a moment that Sulla chose to be turned into a girl – was Brendan wanting Al back, as his lover, or did he just want to raise Al as a child and be his father? Or did it just turn out that way?
I think it was established that Brendan was trying to bring back Al with his memories intact, so at least as a peer if not lover (We don’t know their status at the time of Al’s death) I have just assumed that since Sulla didn’t have Al’s memories and needed to be socialized, it evolved into a parent-child dynamic.
Drawing non-horrible body hair, something many of us struggle with and I think you did a wonderful job here. I hope you have a good break, I look forward to seeing where everything continues to go when you get back :)
