Let me just say, I thought I’d read all the good BL comics out there. And I seriously mean that. I have read everything – the good ones, the bad ones, the mediocre ones, the great ones. Yours is…exceptional. I almost teared up like 3 times, and that doesn’t ever happen. You write your characters in a very real way, from an emotional standpoint thats realistic, and not exaggerated melodrama.

I love the story, the characters, the pacing…I don’t often get surprised by a pairing in a comic, but Brendan and Al actually really surprised me. I didn’t think they would fit together and they do. I love their age difference, Al’s insecurities, Brendan’s youthful optimism. And Sullu! What an interesting character. I can’t tell whether a few pages ago she was surprised that she could pass for a human but not a girl in Al’s eyes. Is that what she was thinking about? I’m interested in how she came to the decision to ask Brendan to change her. Anyways, I can’t wait to read more – I consider myself seriously lucky to have stumbled upon this.
