In reply to Jonathan. cashier/cash register combos. yes. with laser barcode-scanner eyes, and everyone's credit card is a microchip in their hand so you high five them instead of swiping it, and a cheat code that you can put in to keep them from pestering you about registering for a savings card, and i am going to be thinking about this the rest of the day aren't i.

I think the most important questions on Al’s mind must be:
Is Target still around, and do they have Sterling cashier/cash register combos?
Is the Trylon Microcinema still around, and what are they showing this month?
And do I (Jonathan) still live in Seward and/or Minneapolis, or has something happened to me?
