And here is the bookend for Chapter 3. I will begin posting the next chapter one week from today, on February 20th. In the meantime, keep an eye on my Tumblr, where I will post a link to a few Valentine’s Day-related things.
Thank you for joining me for two years of O Human Star. Here’s to a few more.
Why are you/this comic so incredible? This is great!
Blue gives me an existential crisis too. This story is so amazing its kind of hard to believe it’s real.
We love you blue, I can’t wait to see more. @_@ and buy a solid copy and place it in special places for people to find. :D magical discovery!!!
Congrats on 2 years a comics! As always, I’m looking forward to where you’re going to take these characters and how this world continues to unfold :)
I first heard this quote years ago, from a boyfriend who is now an ex. I loved it then, and had completely forgotten about it until now. Thankyou for reminding me of it, it is beautiful as always. Thankyou Blue!
I would like to take this opportunity to remind people of the forum: http://ohumanstar.boards.net/ …We should add a thread there on favourite quotes…
Al tho im not gay,i do not find o human star offensive. it is well drawn, plotted and is worthy of the server time.
keep up the good work.
I called it, didn’t I? :D This is an alternate history where Alan Turing was celebrated rather than reviled, right?? RIGHT!?! Ohmygodi’msohappyyouquotedhim!
(Yes I’m that weirdo who emailed you about this :p)
I love your comic Bluee, always on point.
OHS is, if not the only, certainly one of the few webcomics that has ever made me weep from happiness. ; )
Turing! I should have figured a comic about fantastic gay AI geniuses would mention him eventually! He is fantastic, and I really hope Al and Brendan end up getting the happy out of the closet future that Turing didn’t.
(Actually, that’s a potentially worrying backstory parallel. We don’t know what happened in the time frame shortly before Al’s death, but the ambiguous “was it a suicide?” lines up very neatly, and the “everyone found out that you’re gay and treated you like shit because of it” is distressingly plausible.)
