this didn’t stop brendan from making a “clean-slate” allustair/sulla.
which is the entire point, i guess: to create a machine with the mind of a human (which is obviously possibly in the realm of fiction), that can be interacted with the same as another human.
Sulla is by far my favorite character. There is a whimsical aspect to her flying around all the time. She does not wear shoes indoors as her feet never touch the ground almost like a fairy.
I think I get the collor atmosphere and character combination now it focus on “Who’s the newcomer here?”.
So I belive there’ll be a flashback of Sulla’s early days in green and I’m looking foward to it cause I just looked into her face just now and she always smilles like that when she flys at top speed, I just want to know how she took to flying for the first time.Probably like a bycicle experience.
Just figured out why sulla flies. Her ability to fly is a metaphor for her free spirit. She is free from what Al was, she is free from Al’s past that defines him.
I want to get the whole story in print, can’t wait!
Oooo. I can’t wait for Thursday. I love the early years.
It’s like you acknowledge what I said last week, Blue. Thank you. :-D
that’s a really nice technique you used here, blue.
mixing in the present with the past in one page like that.
i’ve got this.
(sulla seems a little too eager to get allus situated.
isn’t she?
l.o.l.)
I concur
I honestly rather wish that Al would of started sharing the bed with Brendan.
Then again, there are legitament reasons for not sharing the bed.
there are legitimate reasons why these two haven’t jumped at the opportunity to once again share a bed with each other.
reasons, yet to be specified.
The whole not-technically-alive thing must be a factor as well.

(i.e. — ‘cheating death.’
in a sense.)
Looking younger there, Al ;) This is so sweet.
Oh noes, Al’s zoning out into flash-back mode. Al, go and make that bed.

Gosh, aren’t they adorable when they’re being grownups and not yelling at each other :) (uh, not that the yelling isn’t also adorable)
I love the last two panels, the seams on the hands vanishing as we go to flashback.
…also, can I just say that that is a really nice design on that multitool. I want one.
Oh Sulla, such a cutie!
Sulla must not be very fuel efficient. She seems to be putting out a lot of smoke. Advanced robotics, no catalytic converter.
if it helps: al, himself, seems to be full of hot air sometimes
:-D

I’ve got this as in “I can handle this,” or as in “I’ve got the multitool,”?
This is a great comic!
I love Sulla, she’s such a good kid.
