I see the Blue Fairy poster as a reminder that it took the Blue Fairy magic to turn Pinocchio into a real boy… And there’s the question of Al being a Real Boy (real man) since there were all the failures Brendan has been referring to.
What a nice nondramatic Turn of Events…but it settles my oppinion about Sula having something to/helping do with bringing Al back.
It’s nice to see Brendan so calm, I think this is the first time he is at peace since Al arrived out of nowhere. I think from here on it gets better but the next flashback must be close ahead as well ;) I wonder how Al’s and Brendan’s relationship went on
Yeah that was my idea as well, she thought she was found out…also in the beginning when she first meets Al for a few panels she looks just too happy for meeting him, also given that she knew him from pictures. I don’t think she’s a too great liar as well and that those are moments where it shows…but I don’t think she would have all it needs to bring Al back alone, I think Sulla was only a helper to someone who also thought of bringing Al back at first. I can’t imagine it beeing Sulla’s idea but maybe she “ispired” this other someone to think of it
even the woman in the poster is giving her blessing!
Amen
amen.
Also given that the poster was Al’s in the first place. haha ;-)
i’s a full circle yeah?
What do you mean?
i mean that i am cursing about this comment form not having an “edit” or “delete” feature.
:-D
it’s a full circle: that said poster still serves such useful functions, all of these years later.
at least, this is how i choose to interpret that panel.

Well, this is turning out alright so far! Yey :D Glad that Brendan’s agreeing with the notion of them cohabiting amicably :)
Ah Brendan, handling the emotional decisions so eloquently once more.
just got to catch up on your comic!,this is turning up so well ‘u’ <3

I don’t think so… she doesn’t seem like a very good liar. Unless of course she’s a VERY good liar…
Well, Sulla could of thought that they were yelling “she did it” and needed to find out if that was happening.
I’m not saying she for sure was involve in Al’s return, but it still could be a possibility….
I do also look for to the next flashback. DO YOU HEAR THAT BLUE!! ;-)

The three of them together is just so precious.
Aw good grief, Al’s face in that last panel is killing me. And embarrassed eavesdropping Sulla. And Brendan peacemaking. My heart!
…and I can’t help but love the fact that Brendan is doing the classic ‘no honey we’re not fighting’ parental couple thing :)
LOL
And while were together, we’re gonna shave that mustache.
Nnooo!! He already lost his beard. Don’t take it all away! ;-)
I’m really hoping for the return of the beard, actually.
actually…
…i wonder if these particular androids are capable of generating their own synthetic hair strands, or if. . . . .
Its easy to eavesdrop when you are a robot likely with enhanced senses <_<;
Also Al has a pretty sweet moustache. I mean that’s more a reason than anything.
