But then if he is, it technically does as the Ballerina Robot is Al’s creation and past possession.

Where are you getting 39 from? According to the cast page, it says Brendon is 43 so I guess they are really close in age. I believe Al was probably 39 when they first met. He still looks a bit older than he really is. I think he totally looks like he’s in his 50s. Brendon isn’t a spring chicken either, but he does look like someone in their 40s…very tired and stressed—but that’ll age even the youngest looking of people very fast.

I’m glad someone else noticed that. I’ve been reading it as “Al S.” in reverse, but it works either way.

..i’m sure any one of those machines can easily patch it back up.

all the same, you might want to be careful with that shirt.. ..i’d not assume brendan will be willing to give you a spare.

then again, all those etchings in the skin.. ..they are kinda unseemly (to me). . . . .

I think he’s looking for the little ballerina robot.

When he says ‘it’s got nothing to do with you’, it’s obvious it is

Actually Brendan is still technically younger than Al since he’s 39 while Al’s “biologically” 45.

But yeah now that the major age gap is gone and Brendan matured a whole lot, it’s interesting to see how this relationship would work now.

I think he is actually now *older* than Al—which makes it even more deserved. Makes me wonder what happens if he dies (as he’s alluded to having limited time when he explained stepping away from the company) and gets reincarnated in a younger body.
