bren-bren is looking for who in the hell might have authorized the re-creation of the android who stands in front of him now.
maybe.
so brendan and alastair definitely did not end their time together on a positive note..
..well, that could be asserted, excepting as the android now known as “sulla” was created one day after Al died.
(sulla.
allus.
allustair.)
well, no..
..brendan did still love al, but had figured out that there was something preventing alastair from being able to have a constructive relationship with brendan: thus, i’m guessing, the reason brendan might have constructed allus with a “clean slate” — to explore the possibility they might have a second chance.
I think he just missed him and wanted him back. But sulla is just her own person bot… Whatever. For the reasons they explained earlier. I dunno, so far I think sulla build al. Only person so far with access to the master copy of al’s memory files.
“Ghost of Hannukah past” … I love that you’ve managed to fit in that reference on such a time of year…
Brendan is being a bit rude there, but possibly there is a problem which I only just thought of: If Alistair really is a reincarnation of himself, what happens to his previous posessions? Brendan has been running the company Al left to him (presumably left to him that is) but… does it now legally belong to Al? Those documents could be relevant, when you think about it…
Heh, I like snarky older Brendan. I feel like Al deserves a little snark, he’s been pretty terse and unapproachable himself since he ‘woke up’ in this time. I enjoy the fact that in this time their age difference has evaporated so that Brendan can be just as cranky and middle-aged as Al :)
I think he is actually now *older* than Al—which makes it even more deserved. Makes me wonder what happens if he dies (as he’s alluded to having limited time when he explained stepping away from the company) and gets reincarnated in a younger body.
Where are you getting 39 from? According to the cast page, it says Brendon is 43 so I guess they are really close in age. I believe Al was probably 39 when they first met. He still looks a bit older than he really is. I think he totally looks like he’s in his 50s. Brendon isn’t a spring chicken either, but he does look like someone in their 40s…very tired and stressed—but that’ll age even the youngest looking of people very fast.
nooo, please don’t fight
Ouch, Brendam, don’t be that rude D8
these are not the droids you’re looking for- I mean.
c’mon Brendan, I’m sure it’s been a crazy day for everyone :<
Hehe that was awesome ^_^

I’m glad someone else noticed that. I’ve been reading it as “Al S.” in reverse, but it works either way.
i would have noticed that play on words sooner or later.
:-)
i deserve a cookie, don’t i?
i like your theory too.

Oooh I’ve been waiting for this! ( I feel like I say that every week, lol))

Actually Brendan is still technically younger than Al since he’s 39 while Al’s “biologically” 45.
But yeah now that the major age gap is gone and Brendan matured a whole lot, it’s interesting to see how this relationship would work now.

Is that knife the thing he’s been looking for?
When he says ‘it’s got nothing to do with you’, it’s obvious it is
I think he’s looking for the little ballerina robot.
But then if he is, it technically does as the Ballerina Robot is Al’s creation and past possession.
it’s cool about the shirt, by the way..
..i’m sure any one of those machines can easily patch it back up.
all the same, you might want to be careful with that shirt.. ..i’d not assume brendan will be willing to give you a spare.
then again, all those etchings in the skin.. ..they are kinda unseemly (to me). . . . .
