Not to leap to anything too concrete here, but if this isn’t trans af then Idk what is. Smokey!Al’s hair in the first panel reminds me of Sulla. Wanting to be on their back vs doggy. “This isn’t right,” and then there’s nothing inside – trans feels for days.

Obviously there are other ways to interpret this, but this dream sequence makes way more sense to me *now* than it did the first couple times I read it.
