Awkward sweet laughter genuinely reminds me of TJ and Amal scenes (I hope I don’t get lynched for mentioning your rival here HAHAH), and oh Brendan :P No big troubles yet, I hope.
It was through TJ and Amal that I found a link to this wondrous comic. I will be grateful to them forever.

I wanted to know, if Al isn’t that old, then his hair is blonde or it just got white for work stress?
If you go to the extract, you will be able to see All in full color and with white hair… Not sure it’s stress, maybe, but that also can be you familly legacy (like Amal… sorry too to mention the rival).
Fpr exemple, I know someone who turned bold at 18 and white at 27… Not very funny actually :/

Good question. I have on myself (that can be related to Teatime’s one), sorry if it’s sound stupid or if it already had an answer, but why the title is “O human Start” ? Is it reffering the greatest of what can be inside of every human being and robot mind? Or of what every human (and robot) can become ?
Well that is what I read behind the informatic chating of Al, Bren and Sulla about how robots became something more and no longer things.
Really, sorry if the question sound stupid but it was itching me since I start to read this story… Especially because of this poster, that we see a lot since the second page, which means, it does have an importance…
I’m aware that the title signification will may be explained in a coming chapter and so I’ll have to wait. So answering might be spoiling.
However – I don’t know about you everyone – the fact that Bren isn’t the one who brang back Al and doesn’t know anyhting about the black robot dog and the ballerina, keeps bothering me and makes me wonder (despite my previous questions “who did that ?” “And is that a proof of the coming common conscienness evolution of the robot comunity…?”) : Why Alistair needed to be bring back ? What is is really special about him, despie being the father of the robot comunity…?
He is seen as a genius for humans community, but what about robots ? He was the one who bring them to life and so those special potential in them, wasn’t he ? I wonder if they don’t see him as we human see god(s)… And if, in fact, this could the title real meanning…? Human that become “god”?
My bad, if all my questions annoy you guys…

Brendan, honey, maybe a quick shag would’ve been a more sensitive thing to do. All’s got doubts now, see his face in the last panel?
Having said that, Brendan looks complitely hilarious in panel 4.
Naah – The temptation of transforming the quick shag into a whole day of pleasure would have been too big…
Too bad… That would have been fun for us…
And having a whole day of pleasure is exactly what they both need, after all the tension/frustration :)
Seriously, after last page I was really expecting Brendan would pull him back into bed. This comic adds a new twist almost every page…
I can see why Al wouldn’t be entirely happy. And then Brendan so conveniently forgot about being fired… I mean of course that was said in the heat of things, but it still adds to the picture. And you can really see how the whole power dynamic had shifted in their relationship…
I like the detail in panel one, that all the clothes are thrown on the floor beside the bed. I get this nice mental image of Al carrying Brendan to the bedroom, the way Brendan had sat atop him when they started kissing in the workshop…
who is that woman on the poster anyway?
Oddly, she reminds me a lot of Sulla, with the star in her hands and the long floaty hair. Which makes me wonder exactly what Brendan had in mind when he designed her. Al’s mind, and the appearance of the poster above their bed… maybe some subconscious association going on there…
Alternatively I could just be reading way too much into this!

Everybody knows that science is more important than sex.
It’s so weird to read these old comment sections where everybody is completely misinterpreting what’s going on, lol. I’d imagine it’d be kind of frustrating as an author how noone is picking up on it
