Now rereading this page for the hundredth time, I want to ask if other readers noticed how Al snatched Brendan’s arms in the second panel? It seems like, even though he is accepting to give into his urges he still wants to be “in control”, the one who holds down his partner and says “no, we are doing it /my way/”.
This is very curious to see once you compare it to how their sexual relationship develops (based on the next pages and the answers provided by Blue on her tumblr) and then how insecure Al is about his own sexuality/role in the relationship? I literally cannot wait until we see more of his internal turmoil fleshed out. I love each characters’ conflicts, but Al’s is probably my favourite.
