Finally taking the time to comment here. I really adore your comic, but since I tend to rant I’ll keep it short and sweet: it seems as if you really care about the character’s and in my opinion you really have a way of telling a story.
I hope you keep updating this unique comic, but I’d like to point out: in the last panel, “You’re an incredibly…” misses the D! The first typo I found, just wanted to let you know :)
Ahh, I love Brendan’s expression in panel 4. That gesture with his glasses is one of the first times I felt like his younger self evoked his older self, and it made me realise one of the things I like most about these two – that in terms of relationships, for all the age gap, Brendan is more grown-up than Al is.
There are so many marvellous visuals in this comic. I love the use of bleached colour and black background to convey the amount of OH CRAP going on in Al’s head there.
This pageis just sheer pricelessness, laughter and tears all at once. Brendan the first two panels, hilarious. The Al’s O-o hilarious too. But sad…
And Al, after that, get over yourself and marry the kid, like, right now. Don’t you see he’s a GEM?
You tell him Brendan! You go and lay it like it is.
Augh, and thne I look up at the banner with this middle-aged Brendan and his tired puffy face. The SADNESS. Al, seriously, is it necessary to be a dick, even if not on purpose?
I love how in panel 3 Al’s “oh shit, he knows” face is so perfect. With the blank background and the missing details really bring out the aspect of time stopping when you’ve been found out. Particularly when you’re in the closet and you think you’ve been so good at hiding it all, it’s a really ground-shaking moment and I love how you depicted it here, Blue
Wait, but I want you to talk about that. :| The suspense is beautiful murder.
Ah, that second panel! *Those knowing eyes.* Love this page!
…can it now be Monday? /hops into time machine-!
NOW KISS
I KNOW RIGHT

Take care and all the best
Fixed! Thanks for pointing that out to me – typos really bug me in other comics, so they’re pretty unforgivable when I catch them in mine!
Cuh-rap! Brendan knows.
Then again, Brendan’s a pretty keen observer, so Al was probably screwed from the minute he started acting off.
I can just imagine the color draining from Al’s face.
People talking about their problems like adults. You don’t see that every day. (Even in real life)
+1
Oh Al, you’re so transparent.
wait… HE KNOWS?! D’8

Brendan: NOT an idiot.
Al: Very much screwed.
But wow that kid is amazingly sensitive.
/Screwed/: Poor choice of words? Or perfect choice of words?
{grin}
well, i am a big fan of al making a “i’ve been such a dick” … face, in panel 6.
yes, al.
you have been.
the wrong kind of Dick.
(which is worse.)
Brendan is so dang confident in himself; his skill, his ideas, his attractiveness. I envy that. I’m so much more of an Al.
Also his glasses are so cute.
