Gotta say, I am digging seeing a very obviously relaxed Alastair just hanging around without worrying about things.
And laughing at what happened there. :D

I think I like that. That synth had a very good role model, to offer his seat voluntarily like that.
Awww. I remember the first time a pair of burly, tattooed guys up and gave me their seat on the Metro. I was so startled, but I couldn’t say no. It’s just so nice!
Am I missing a page? I can’t figure out what they’re laughing at.

Lucille just suggested that they take the light rail to see “more of the city.” I think they’re laughing because earlier in the book they snuck out and saw quite a bit of the city (including the light rail being constructed), unbeknownst to Lucille.

I’m going to guess they might be thinking about the last time they were around the light rail line, things got a bit complicated …
I figured it was because they both can fly and have seen pretty much the entire city that way as of late.
This is what I figured as well.
That works also.
Though as a counterpoint, we haven’t seen Al really flying and so far Sulla seems to prefer to keep a low profile, so I’m not entirely sure that’s what they’re snickering about… could be, but we haven’t been set up for that joke…
